Likewise. In my case the boredom is closely accompanied by strong irritation, along with an uncontrollable desire to mock and jeer and fleer.

Just bought myself 'Teach Yourself Philosophy of Religion' this weekend and I've found so far very accessible and lucid. I'll be checking out more of his titles when time permits.

I'm reading Mel Thmopson's excellent "Philosophers Behaving Badly", a most enjoyable and straightforward read. It might, partly, be his revenge on those who bored him...
